Al Haya Waste Treatment Factory is a Qatar-based industrial waste treatment facility established in 2011. The factory is located on a 30,000 square meter site at Mesaieed Industrial City and operates within the environmental services and waste management sector. It was among the first facilities in the GCC to implement sustainable waste treatment technology. The factory specializes in the treatment of solid, semi-solid, and liquid waste oils for hydrocarbon recovery. The recovered hydrocarbons are exported for use as fuel in industrial boilers and furnaces. The facility is equipped with technology to treat wax, contaminated grease, and contaminated soil, supporting hazardous waste management requirements. Al Haya Waste Treatment Factory serves leading oil and gas industries across Qatar under contracted waste treatment capacity agreements. The plant also includes water treatment facilities designed to treat marine bilge water. The project has received international recognition, including the Global Green Award (Berlin, 2014) and the Best Energy Saving and Sustainable Project Award from GPCA, UAE.
